How much would you like to watch us perform an ad-lib set of drone-grunge electronica from the nineties? With a DJ? IN A MUSEUM?
Featuring Brunetto on beats and samplers.
Can’t wait to repeat this!
The next Drone Set exhibition will take place at the Center of Contemporary Culture in Barcelona (CCCB), with Brunetto (Freelastica) as our special guest. For those of you who still doubt that we are an overrated, hipster and arty-farty metal band: don’t forget to come to the show next June 4!
Tickets are already on sale here. See you there!
Last Friday 29th of November we had the honor to welcome Mark Cunningham to perform at one of our Drone Sets during the first Ritual Cvlt BCN Party.
And since we don’t get to jam with a legend like him every day, we thought that this time we’d record it and share it with you.
In just four weeks we will be opening for the almighty Jarboe with a Drone Set that will feature the legendary Mark Cunningham, one of the fathers to New York’s No Wave.

The Obsidian Kingdom Drone Set performed recently at Barcelona’s City Hall with Hugo Guerrero as special guest on sax. Here’s a brief excerpt from that night:
Signal. Delay. Feedback. Synthesis. Improvisation. All at once.
Droning is such a blast. You’ll get to see and hear it soon.
Our special guest will be Hugo, the sax player.
It will be a night full of experimentation where no boundaries will remain intact – you can join the event for free admission, so you have no excuse!
